 We are looking forward to another season bringing together internationally acclaimed performers and ensembles. The subscription season includes the Candler Concert Series and the Schwartz Artist-in-Residence programs.

As a Schwartz Center subscriber, you'll enjoy priority seating, invitations to artist-led discussions and master classes, and 15% savings on additional single tickets. The box office will also be available to assist you with purchasing additional tickets for your subscription concerts, early access to tickets for A Festival of Lessons and Carols and Emory Jazz Fest Big Band Night, ticket exchanges, or to answer questions you might have. Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center — American Soundscapes
Friday, October 2 at 8 p.m.

Celebrate the rich voices of American composers through a range of musical expressions that define the nation's cultural landscape. The evening takes us from Amy Beach’s Piano Quintet—a cornerstone of American chamber music—to Bernard Herrmann’s Psycho Suite, bringing the suspense of his iconic film score into the concert hall with gripping intensity and dark beauty.

The Green Room Ensemble — String Quartet Cycle by Eleanor Alberga
Thursday, October 29 at 8 p.m.

The Green Room Ensemble is thrilled to present the US Premiere performance cycle of Eleanor Alberga’s Three String Quartets, along with the World Premiere of her Second Piano Quintet with the composer herself at the piano, joined by Thomas Bowes and Nathan Meltzer, violins; Jordan Bak, viola; and Sterling Elliott, cello.

Tessa Lark, Joshua Roman, and Edgar Meyer
Thursday, November 19 at 8 p.m.

Grammy-nominated violinist Tessa Lark and innovative cellist Joshua Roman have joined with Schwartz Center favorite and seven-time Grammy winner Edgar Meyer in a program featuring Meyer's bluegrass-inspired arrangements centered around Bach's Sonata for Viola da Gamba in G Major.

Aaron Diehl Trio and Mikaela Bennett, soprano

Aaron Diehl has quietly redefined the lines between jazz and classical, building a global career around a nuanced, understated, and deeply intelligent approach to music-making. Emory Jazz Fest 2027 — Gary Motley Trio with a Special Guest Artist
Friday, February 5 at 8 p.m.

A Schwartz Artist-in-Residence program, the annual Emory Jazz Fest will run February 4–6, bringing world-class jazz to the community with master classes, artist demonstrations, and concerts including the Gary Motley Trio, Emory Big Band, and a soon-to-be-announced guest artist featured in the concert on Friday, February 5.

Yuja Wang—celebrated for her charismatic artistry, emotional honesty and captivating stage presence—returns to the Schwartz Center for a recital concert. Having performed with the world’s most venerated conductors, musicians, and ensembles, Wang is renowned not only for her virtuosity, but her spontaneous and lively performances.

Jasmine Choi, flute
Friday, April 16 at 8 p.m.

Fleck, Meyer, Hussain, and Chaurasia

Flutist Jasmine Choi is celebrated worldwide for her extraordinary virtuosity and acclaimed recordings. An artist who bridges cultures, Choi expands the instrument’s traditional boundaries. Her debut at the Schwartz Center opens with the clarity and elegance of the Italian Baroque, then moves into Igor Stravinsky’s Suite Italienne, where that tradition is reimagined through a modern lens. The program continues with works by Aaron Copland and Bohuslav Martinů, exploring how their music reflects Stravinsky’s neoclassical thinking.

The Schwartz Center is the performance home to Atlanta Master Chorale under the direction of Emory faculty Dr. Eric Nelson.  The 2026–2027 Atlanta Master Chorale season will be announced later this spring.
