Drop-Off and Temporary Parking
Schwartz Center patron drop-off and pick-up, as well as temporary parking (15 minutes) for box office patrons, is available in designated areas in the Allen Family Plaza on the west side of the Schwartz Center.
Dicounts
Discounts vary by event and are only available by phone or in person.
Emory Student Rate
- Current Emory University students (including Oxford College students) are eligible to purchase tickets ranging from $5–$15 for most events. In addition, many events are offered free of charge.
- A valid Emory student ID must be presented at the time of purchase.
- Undergraduate students are eligible for one student ticket per Emory student ID.
- Graduate students are eligible for two student tickets per Emory student ID.
Discount Rate
There are many categories of patrons who are eligible for two tickets at the Discount Rate. A sample list of categories is below. Please call the box office at 404.727.5050 for more information.
- Patrons over 65 or under 18
- Active and former military
- Retired and current Emory University faculty, staff, and affiliates (CDC, Carter Center, American Cancer Society, Emory Healthcare, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta)
- Emory Alumni
- Parents of current Emory students
- Non-Emory students
- Groups of 10 or more
- Current Emory Center for Lifelong Learning students
- Friends of the Arts members (Music, Creative Writing, Dance, Film, Schwartz Center, Theater Emory, University Libraries, and Michael C. Carlos Museum members)
Gift Certificates
Call or visit the Box Office to purchase gift certificates. Available in any denomination, Schwartz Center gift certificates are good for any event ticketed through the Schwartz Center Box Office. To redeem your gift certificate, call or visit the Schwartz Center Box Office (phone orders incur $6.00 processing fee).
Gift Certificate Redemption Restrictions
Gift certificates are based on availability; valid only for events ticketed by the Schwartz Center Box Office; not redeemable for cash; and not to be used to purchase another gift certificate; standard box office order fees may apply. The Schwartz Center Box Office is not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates. However, lost gift certificates may be reprinted if sufficient documentation is supplied.
Livestream Concerts
Some concerts and events may feature a livestream for those who prefer to watch virtually. Please note that due to licensing, many performances cannot be livestreamed or may not be available for viewing online after the original presentation.
Schwartz Center calendar listings will be updated with instructions when a free performance is also available as a livestream. Livestreams for events that require paid tickets are accessed through your patron account at tickets.arts.emory.edu. Accommodation Requests
Accommodation requests related to a disability should be made at least 24 hours in advance of the event to the box office at 404.727.5050 or by email at boxoffice@emory.edu.

Children/Infants
Please inquire about age appropriateness before bringing a child to any event. Most ticketed events offer a discount category for youth under the age of 18. If the child is less than two years old and will sit on an adult’s lap, the child's admission is free. If a child uses a seat, a ticket is required.
Convenience Fee
Online and phone orders incur a $6 convenience fee per order. To avoid this charge, visit the Schwartz Center Box Office during business hours: Monday–Friday, noon–6 p.m.

Late Arrivals
Patrons who arrive after the beginning of an event will be seated at the discretion of the house manager during an appropriate performance break. Due to artistic decisions regarding staging, late seating is not possible for some events.
