The Schwartz Center concert season features universally beloved classical music from internationally acclaimed artists, journeys through a history of American composers, and dives into new and contemporary compositions with exciting up-and-coming musicians. Highlights of the Candler Concert Series include a return of the incomparable violinist Sarah Chang, the Atlanta premiere of American Railroad—a new project from Silkroad Ensemble with Rhiannon Giddens, violinist Daniel Hope with Polish Chamber Orchestra, a collaboration with Imani Winds and Boston Brass, and a recital from world-renowned flutist Emmanuel Pahud of the Berlin Philharmonic and acclaimed pianist Alessio Bax.

The Schwartz Center is also proud to bring renowned artists to Emory’s campus through the Schwartz Artist-in-Residence program, including contemporary music ensemble PUBLIQuartet with their newest program, Rhythm Nation, and the time-honored tradition of Emory Jazz Fest with the Gary Motley Trio. This program includes lectures, demonstrations, and master classes—providing Emory and the community with opportunities for meaningful contact with artists from around the world.
